Porous Pipe
 
Hi all,

I am using Ansys Workbench 14.0 I want to model a simple pipe with porosity 40%. For modelling this porous pipe what all steps i have to follow..??? Please help me with some suggestions..

mesh your geometry, create a porous domain and fluid-porous interface, chose a loss model and terminate porosity settings

Hi, I also want to model a 2D porous pipe submerged under water . I used porous jump BC. I am sure what will be the alpha value. and result is like attached image. Could you please help me ?
