I blocked a very easy geometry 2D Flate plate inclined at 70 deg AOA for someone. After doing the blocking I put the O-grid around the plate and end up whats is attached in the post. Min quality is 0.8 which is very good but I am not sure about the associations and Ogrid in the neighbor hood of y-block. Kindly look at blocking and tell me if this is correct or how you would do it? Thanks
Regards

not sure, if I get your point exactly. But if you want to simulate a straight flow around a inclined plate, you don't need any o-grids or y-grids. I've attached blocking. You can adjust boundary layer etc. with edge params.

sorry, if I get you wrong. please give a feedback

Thanks for your effort but what do you mean by straight flow?

really a great and simple blocking topology but can you explain how you did it? The only confusion is how you did tilted cuts? I only how to make vertical and horizontal cuts in ICEM

cfd seeker Blocking done by energy382 and nitin are similar. When you make the association the blocking changes its shape according to geometry.

Thanks. Can you tell me how many cuts we have to make initially and at what locations according to the blocking of energy?
