2D refinement problem

1 Attachment(s)
Dear Icem CFD users,
I want to refine a 2D geometry partially and export the mesh into fluent. Here is simply what I tried:
I drew a rectangle divided in half by a curve, constructed hexa block mesh and refined one half by Blocking->Pre Mesh Parameters->Refinement. The result is as shown on the first figure.
However, when I try to import it into fluent, this error message is returned:
Clearing partially read grid.
451 nodes.
324 quadrilateral cells, zone 15.
81 quadrilateral cells, zone 16.
612 2D interior faces, zone 17.
144 2D interior faces, zone 18.
18 2D interior faces, zone 19.
54 2D wall faces, zone 20.
27 2D wall faces, zone 21.

Warning: Inappropriate zone type (interior) for one-sided face zone 19.
Changing to wall.
Error:

2. Save case/data under new name.
3. Exit program and restart to continue.
4. Report error to your distributor.

Is this a general type of error people see in 2d refinement?

you could do that without separation by a curve. try creating a body in your right too. see if it can solve the problem...

Thank you for your response, I did what you suggested however I got this error:

it is due to uncovered face. if you google the no face with given nodes error, you will get a lot of thread about it.
Your problem is not a major one, something happened there, try redoing your bloing after the bodies are created, also make sure the associations are done...

Thank you but I don't think that's the problem because the unrefined the block can be imported into fluent without error.
Here is what i did in order:

Drawing the geometry,
2d planar blocking,
Dividing the block and adding the blocks to left and right material points separately,
adjusting the edge parameters.

Any step I might be skipping?

what is the ratio of refinement?
