Hi all,
I have a simple question but cannot seem to find the answer. I am attempting to mesh a simplified car geometry, structured in 3D. I have seen o-grid mentioned for wings etc and the generated mesh looks good. Is an o-grid a structured or unstructed? Secondly I have an IGES model, the only way in my block that seems to come close to the correct association is face to surface. Is this the correct method for 3D blocking? Many thanks, Hob |

No need to use face to surface association. only curve to edge and point to vertex association is enough for ICEM. ICEM uses implicit face to surface association. Explicit face to surface association is for special purposes. |
