Hello friends,
I have created a rotating zone (inside which a rotor exists, and have done boolean operation) inside a stationary domain. Now, I want to create an interface since I am having two domains (though both are fluid domain). I have done the named selection in ansys mesh itself. I wanted to have rotor part (cylinderical zone) and stator part (cubical part) named separately and create the interface between them. But principle 2d region for the stator part does not show the faces of rotating part so that I could create the interface. I have attached the snapshot of the model for your reference. I am not getting where I am going wrong. Kindly if any one can help me! |

In shared faces, do you have 1 face? Or 2 faces? You should have 2 faces and then use connection for create interface! |
