Hi All,

I have a domain like below. Opposite edges have same mesh count.

https://picasaweb.google.com/1162266...25166580661154

Quad/Map or Quad/Submap should mesh the face like this, (I have made it out of 5 different faces just to show you.)

https://picasaweb.google.com/1162266...25169778632082

But when I mesh it as a single face, it becomes,

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Thanks
You didn't make the decomposition for us, but for you since it is the right way.
With surface decomposition, you always have more control on your mesh.
You just demonstrated it

hi mAx,

Now that I have 2 zones, what should be the boundary type for the edge that connects these two? Interface??

Thanks in advance!

don't set anything on this edge. Thus if your split is well done, then both domains are connected, and Gambit will automatically set this edge as interior.
