gambit meshing for the flow passing a 3D cylinder

Hello everybody,
I am trying to create a structured 3D mesh around a circular cylinder located at the middle of a room (domain). The problem I faced is that how to create such a mesh when I want to mesh the above domain of the flat plane of the cylinder? for example, if we consider a cylinder like attached photo, how we can create a structured mesh for domains located out of the paper?

create your domain like in the picture:
box with cylinder hollowed.
Then use split tool to divide the volume into 5 subdomains, like in the picture.
Once it is done, go and mesh each subvolume with hexa.

Thanks but...
