Hi

Does anyone know how to create a blade cascade in gambit, then meshit? Its for my final year project and im running out of time. This forum is my last hope.

Please help!

Thanks,

I have manged to do that but every time I try to mesh it I get an error "problem with permament face overloop"

Any ideas as Im not very good with gambit!

Your surface seems to be ok.
I would merge all your edges from airfoils.
If you will work with periodicity, remember that your periodic edges have to be linked (with mesh)

What do u mean by "If you will work with periodicity, remember that your periodic edges have to be linked (with mesh)?"

Isn't it obvious that they will be linked with a mesh. How else can a simulation be done. M confused.

Can you explain your statement in detail?
