meshing big volumes

hi
I want to mesh a big wind turbin using gambit.but I have problems becaus of its big geometry.it takes a lot of time.what can I do??

reduce size of your mesh by using size function for instance.
Pictures may help

tnx for your help:)
but I dont know which mesh size in suitable for this volume.is 10mm suitable for this purpose?

Measure size of geometry on different parts and apply size function accordingly.

For example is edge length is 10 then size of 1 would produce 10 or so elements. There apply sizing function with size 1, growth rate 1.1 to 1.2 and maximum size to 10 or as required.

I did it but its meshing takes a lot of hours and finally it fails:(

I have got one error during meshing
error: out of memory while meshing.
what can I do to solve this problem??

Use larger sizes in size function and try

And split your volume into different volumes so to not have out of memory error message; obviously mesh one volume a time.
