I'm a beginner and have been trying to create a flow volume around my body (imported from catia).
I tried using an enclosure but got a boolean operation error, so I have gone down the path of using primatives and also sketching, which work OK. I've decided to go down the route of using sketching a box and extruding it. Now my problem is that my model needs to body needs to be at a specific distance from the borders of the flow volume/box. I've defined the length and height of the box but cannot select the edges of the cad model in order to define their distance to the edge of the box. Any ideas on how to do this? |

i'm not sure you want to do, may be some pictures... here something that might help you, you can move bodies in designmodeler along x, y or z by using "body operation"
