Make sure you pick 5 faces and not 4. Since your airfoil is not symmetric, its curved section on the bottom makes the 5th face with the horizontal axis. Once you pick the 5th face, you will be able to mesh using the rest of the tutorial.

I'm a beginner and facing the same problems, how do I pick 5 faces instead of 4?

Symmetric airfoil meshing problem

Actually i am working on symmetric airfoil meshing. But when i set leading edge square, then trailing edge mesh does not remain square. I applied biasing and also i did work with no biasing. But i could not get my mesh element square.
Kindly someone tell me that how can i improve mesh and how to make 1st cell as square
