Hi everybody!
I am an engineering student and I’m preparing my master’s degree thesis. I am studying Thermal Energy Storage Systems. In particular I’m focusing on air motion inside a cylinder of porous material. In gambit to simulate pores I have to draw a fluid square cell (pore) “side 8mm” with a thickness of 1mm (for a total of 10mm) and 1000mm in length. On the frontal external surface(thickness) I should put a 3x3 mesh, a 20x20 mesh in the pore and on the length I must make 300 knots. I wrote a previous post about a similar problem and you have been very helpful. I hope you can do the same now! |

Hi max!!
When I export the file in Fluent there is the following message: Note: Separating wall zone 4 into zones 4 and 1. wall -> wall (4) and wall:001 (1) Note: Separating interior zone 8 into zones 8 and 7. default-interior -> default-interior (8) and default-interior:007 (7) What did I do wrong? |

How many volumes do you have?
What is your domain? Do you need internal parallelepiped? If not, did you subtract it from the external parallelepiped? Post pictures. Daniele |
