Dear all,

maybe you know the answer to this simple question. For my optimization loop I am using a 3D hexa mesh.Lets say for a duct. I want ICEM to write out the curve length so I can guarantee that the number of cells along the duct is always equal. The info for the curve length is easy to generate manually with "Info->Curve length" and then the message log file can be saved.

I f i am writing a replay script nothing happens while clicking "Info->Curve length" in the replay control monitor. Also the command button "save below the message log window does not generate any output in the replay script (see attached figure).

Programmer's guide was not helpful so far.

Saving the complete hexa project leads to no helpful log file.

Do you have any idea how to tell ICEM to give me the information of the curve length in an automatic approach??

btw I am using ICEM CFD 14.0

I also checked version 14.5 but there it also happens

I think I will look for a more user friendly meshing approach in workbench...might be better for automated meshing...even though I would prefer the hexa mesh by ICEM
