Hello,
The following pictures represent sample of my problem. When I want to generate mesh for the shape shown in the first picture , after a long time of meshing process I noticed that it make an attempts to generate the mesh as in the second picture, but no way!!! then the message box shown in the last picture told me that I have to change element size or virtual topology!!! I tried to do this and other changes..... but the problem did not solved! Could you please help me to solve this problem? Note that: the blade shown was drawn using airfoil and extended using sweep command. Please contact me at my e.mail: mas20001920@yahoo.com http://im42.gulfup.com/3SfMf.jpg http://im42.gulfup.com/Bkecq.jpg http://im42.gulfup.com/qpHs8.jpg |

You can try playing with the max and min size of the mesh. Along with this you can also try using 'proximity and curvature' option.
Are there any sharp/pointed regions in your domain? I could not see the junction of the foild and the '+' shaped objects. |
