can't inflate half a pipe

There is a pipe of 1 m length, 300 mm diameter. At the upper end is ended with a smaller pipe of 290 mm length and 90 mm diameter - chimney. The flow inlet is located on a side surface of the larger pipe on the other end.

The large pipe is sliced on 3 parts. I used "sweep" to 2 of 3 parts of large pipe and for small part - chimeney. So the mesh is rather structured but sections where there are some irregularities.

The problem is inflation. I make "sweep method" inflate, but the result is "invalid method".

I remove sweeps and insert inflation controls - thre is an inflation layer but the mesh is unstructured.

So, how can I get inflation and sturcured mesh at the same time?

Not an ansys meshing expert, have you try multizone instead of sweep ?

I think what you want to achieve is not possible with multi-zone as well as multi-domain.
