Dear Friends,

I am trying to create a 2d tri mesh in ICEM. I have created an initial grid but when I try to increase node counts, ICEM simply ignores it overriding it by previous counts. I have tried to delete entire elements and nodes but it does not make any changes. My steps are as follow:
1-"Curve Mesh Setup" and setting node counts.
2-"Global Mesh Setup"-->"Shell Meshing Parameters"-->patch dependent option
3-Compute Mesh"-->"Compute".
As you can see, I am a newbie in unstructured mesh and I appreciate any help.

Thanks
