I have been trying to mesh a rod-airfoil configuration in ICEM in 2D in order to import the mesh afterwards into Fluent.
After the mesh was done, I assigned the boundary conditions to inlet, outlet, symmetric 1, symmetric 2, rod (wall) and airfoil (wall), however when reading the mesh in fluent, only the rod, the airfoil and symmetric1 appear. After checking in ICEM just the mesh, without switching on the geometries, rod and airfoil appear as they should, while sym1 includes all 4 edges (sym1, sym2, in, out), and there is nothing to be seen for sym2, inlet and outlet. On the other hand, when switching each part on, when looking at the geometries, they appear individually (as they should). Any ideas? |
