i want the goemtry from a given fluent mesh file.

I remember this has been discussed before for sure. I don't remember the steps but I'm sure this was discussed before, use the search tool in the forum or google . Good luck

Export surf mesh from ICEM as an STL. STLs can be read by all good CAD software (including ICEM). If you want to Premesh it in ICEM, you will have to wrap it (Octree), but you must realise that if your density is finer than the original mesh, then you are effectively oversampling the mesh, and you may get strange looking surfaces
