Problems on changing geometry inside a domain
What i am trying to do in my project is to build a rectangular size building in a domain, so thatni can further export to fluent for calculating and analysing. I have one file which has already completed, but i would like to obtain another set on data by changing the buildings dimension. However, when i tried to change the geometry, the blockings and mesh didnt change. Is there any way that i could change them easily or is it neccessary to change all of of them manually one by one?

It's parametric designing. You can do this in Ansys Workbench. Try to find some tutorials in the Internet.

Ansys Workbench is Ansys GUI in which you can combine all of Ansys "modes" in one place. Every version of Ansys above 12(?) has Ansys Workbench in it. Just try to find it in start menu. If your geometry is only one cube in some cubic domain it would be much easier to perform parametric modeling in Ansys Workbench than in ICEM CFD. For not so sophisticated geometry (in general) Ansys Workbench will be much more suitable than ICEM CFD.
For tutorials try to search google for "parametric modeling ansys". |
