Hi,

I am using ICEM CFD for hydrocyclone meshing. i have almost done the meshing but there is some issue with the "Uncovered Faces "which is i don't know how to solve. Actually the main problem is block connectivity which is not correct. I don't know how to connect different blocks together, which have different node no. i tried but didn't work ....

can any one help me regarding this issue???????

Thanks in advance....[

You can join blocks with merge block command or merge vertex command. But i would recommend that you start with single block and cut it into the required shape...

Hi Far
Thanks for ur reply......

I have tried join blocks with merge block option, it says blocks are unstructured so it is not possible to join. even i tried with merge vortex option also which is also not helpful because it won't covered the face which i mentioned in image 4...
i didn't try with single block so I ll give try with single block.

Thanks for ur suggestion .....Far

Hi Far,
i extrude block 3 from block 1 & tried to merge block 2 & block 3.
when i tried to merge block 2 & 3, it says " Unstructured region", because no. of nodes of block 2& 3 are different that why it's not merging. ....
