Dear All,

Now I have a complete 3D mesh that can be successfully used for the numerical simulations. Now I just would like to refine one surface mesh (I know the internal mesh will be locally modified acccordingly) but do not want to regenerate the whole 3D CMC mesh. I tried the following approach (but it failed):

Assume that I have the geometry. Set the parameters for the parts and bodies. Then choose octree method to generate the purely tetrahydron mesh. Then I use Denauly mesh (Because finally I would like to get the mesh from Delauny method). So now I get the mesh which can be used for the simulations. Based on this mesh, I just would like to refine one boundary surface but not delete the global mesh. I think I just want a local modification.

Does anybody know how can this be performed for my purpose using ICEM? Thank you in advance!
