Yes, The porous zone-0 has thickness 7 cm.

then you have to build also this volume

Erlanda February 21, 2014 02:32

Hmmm, volume 2 is porous zone.
How to connect between volume 1 and volume 2 ?
Thank you.

Yes, between volume 1 and volume 2, there is porous media.

I understood volume 2 is fluid, and you need a third volume

Erlanda February 21, 2014 02:51

Hmmm, Iam sorry.
When I finished to build thrid volume,
Aftet that, which menu in gambit (union, split, or substract) to connect them?
Thank you.

if volume 1 is fluid
if volume 2 is fluid
if volume 3 is porous
then you have to connect all surfaces
you can provide me your dbs file once porous volume is done

Erlanda February 21, 2014 05:07

1 Attachment(s)
Voume 1 is fluid, and volume 2 is porous
This is my dbs file.
Thank you

ok now I understand
Split volume 1 with volume 2 (option "retain" disabled)
That's it

Erlanda February 21, 2014 08:15

Okay Max, thank's for your help.
