How to edit the existing mesh?

Hello Everyone,

I have generated a 3d mesh of rectangular block of 15*15*7.5 m3 in ICEM CFD. Now I would like to change the dimensions of it to 1.04*0.66*0.66 m3. For this do I need to redo my entire meshing or I can just change the dimensions and do it.

Thanks
SKR

You could use the scale features in icem. It's possible to scale geometry entities, the blocking and also elements itself. But this might not be very elegant.

Try recording a replay script. Then you could change the dimensions in this script and have the mesh the same way you created for different dimensions.

Well, for a simple rectangular block... if you only have to redo it once, restarting from scratch doesn't need much effort either.
