darijus is on a distinguished road
Good evening,

I am doing university project where I need to model thermal processes in waste nuclear fuel cask (CASTOR type).
I never used ANSYS before so I have struggling with creating model. Main problem I have is how to design multi material object? This cast should be designed in 2D.

I tried to use: Surface from sketch (drawing every single part of cast as new sketch). When I finished one, I frozen it and draw second one. It looks good in designmodeler as I have 7 separate bodies generated but I have problems when trying to do calculations in FLUENT.

Is it correct way to draw multi-material model? I uploaded my design:

http://darijusgliding.com/personal_files/model.zip

It is created with ANSYS 14.0.

Can anybody suggest proper way of creating such model? Or even somebody can take a look to my model and comment what is wrong?

Thank you very much,

Regards,

Darijus
