I am meshing an aerodynamic car body in Ansys Mesher using the Assembly Cut Cell method. The model is a single body from solidworks.
I am able to create a reasonable looking mesh that is a bit to course. However, the minimum element size is too large to adequately represent some of the areas of high curvature. As I decrease the minimum element size some of the thinner sections the model are no longer captured in the mesh, even when using sharp angle constraints. As I decrease the minimum size less and less of the surfaces of the car are in the mesh. |
