Ansys ICEM for porous media

Hello everybody

I am new in ICEM CFD, but I have a complex system for meshing. actually my geometry is a complex porous media (like 3D tomography images), and I don't know how can I mesh it (hexa or tetra). I read many tutorials of ICEM CFD, but I can't understand the procedure for my geometry. Can anyone help please or can anyone give me a tutorial for meshing a porous media please?

I would appreciate if you can help me.

What type of porous media you have? I guess it is more a geometry problem than the meshing. Could you please show some pics?

Thanks for your message. My porous media is a foam like strutrue. Here is an attachment of the pic.Attachment 30094

Hi friend,

I am having the same problem in meshing a porous media in ICEM CFd. How to deal with the number of created material.
