Screen rotation problem in v15

Hi,

In ICEM CFD v15 when I put the cursor on some piece of geometry in the GUI and hold down the left mouse button to rotate the geometry about where the cursor is ICEM is not rotating about that point. Instead it is rotating about some (seemingly) arbitrary different point and so making it much harder to get the views I want which makes blocking difficult.

This was not a problem in v14.5. Where I could put the cursor of any geometry and holding down the left mouse button would rotate about that local point where the cursor was projected onto the geometry on the GUI.

This is a step backwards by ANSYS; either a bug or a removed:mad: feature, because it was never a setting I had to make from the defaults. Does anyone else have this?

Regards.

Hello,
I think this reply comes a bit late and you have already figured out how to fix this issue. Anyway here is how to rotate about a local point in Ansys ICEM V15. Simply double click at the point location (about which you want to rotate about) and used left mouse button to keep rotating.
Hope this helps.
