I want to add some features in existing cad model of centrifugal compressor:

1. I want to extract hub curve. This curve should pass between two blades, something like periodic curve. I used to do it in gambit very easily using various virtual vertices placed on face.

2. Drawing of casing curve. This curve should be at some distance from blade tip which is typically 2% of blade height. In gambit i used to create edges on blade tip surface, putting mid points on each curve and then reflecting these vertices i was able to get the curve which is at uniform distance from tip e.g. 2 cm from blade tip...

Geometry file is attached here : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ompressor.agdb
