If I got a cube as a geometry and I created a block, is association a compulsory step for this geometry?

I think we only need to edit the edge parameters, right?

Hi Ke Wu,

If you want avoid problems when you read your mesh in a solver, you should associate edge to curve.

By associating edges boundary elements (e.g. line and quadrilateral elements) will be created while premeshing. Most solver probably need seperate sets of boundary elements.

I think that for a 3d block geometry the association of the corner points with the vertices might be enough, too.

Actually I didn't do association and just edited edge parameters, then premesh

I checked the mesh in Fluent, no error turned up
