Oil slick on water - fine oil layer meshing.

Can anyone help me in how to mesh a thin layer of oil floating on water? Please.

Film thickness 0.000038 mm to 0.002 mm, or anywhere in between.

Using ANSYS-Fluent tools.

Thanks

Oil slick simulation crash

Just FYI

I got the mesh done OK, with layers of cells.

When running with Fluent, divergence begins to show after 35 iterations (transient analysis). With the continuity line shown divergence, and other cases temperature divergence.

Switch off the energy modeling, no results showed.

Basically a slick of oil on water with a layer of air on top.

In the multi-phase menu model? Have selected 2 phase, with water being the primary phase, and oil secondary phase. Selecting the mixture option.

Still no results. Should there be 3 phases selected, water primary, oil secondary, air third?
