Basic Doubt regarding BFCart Mesh

Hello all !
I've been meshing a room air-conditioning system in ICEM CFD, and I want to use the Cartesian Mesh option for the same. The room area that I'm dealing with has two portions, with a partition in between. The partition is essentially a thin gap separating the two portions, and therefore, no fluid is present in this gap. However, the BFCart is producing a mesh even in this thin gap, thereby resulting in flow mixing and entirely different velocity and temperature distributions. I tried using the Enforce Split option but I couldn't find a clear procedure on the forum to do that. I did read that we ought to have a .crt blocking file, which is to be used in the Enforce Split option, but that did not turn out right as I didn't really know what to do. I'd be really glad if anyone could help me out with this, i.e., restricting the mesh to the room portions and not fill in the gap too. I'm sure it's some easy way that I'm overlooking right now. Thanks a lot !! |
