I need a mapped mesh on a curved body so that I can get data at set coordinates for use in an optical design tool. ANSYS Mesher has told me that my body is non sweepable so I have generated a body with a 'mapped face' for ANSYS Mesher to perform a patch conforming mesh on.
This, however is taking hours to merely mesh a surface mesh. Any suggestions as to how to approach the meshing better? |
