Hi

I want to create an opening between the two zones. according to the pictures; I'm using a pseudo volume to subtract opening surface from both zones but fluent can not discern this opening and no airflow across from the opening!!
Do you have any idea?

Best regards,
Hassan

-mAx- will become famous soon enough
Can you sketch what you want exactly to compute.
And explain exactly what you did

Hi again

Firstly, thank you for your attention!
I want to simulate the airflow between two rooms and these rooms are connected through an opening on the wall that is shared by two rooms! ( according to the sketch).
I'm modeling my Geometry in gambit according to my last post and import the mesh into fluent! in iteration process I checked velocity vectors and was seeing that no airflow across from room1 to room2!!! and fluent can not discern this opening!
so,I think my modeling process in gambit is wrong!
Do yo have any idea for create this opening between two rooms in gambit?

Best regards,
Hassan

Then I would build your wall with the opening as solid for finally split it from the fluid domain:
