I selected entire model (360 degree) of vertical axis wind turbine with 4 (rectangular) blades are on the rotor for analysis.
I want to give rotational periodicity for rotor to rotate 360 degree . I tried vector and base, axis, angle options in Rotational periodicity using icem cfd. Please help me. |

you mean,If we import mesh file in fluent without periodicity ,we can set rotor of wind turbine as rotating rotationally ?

Periodicity is different as compared to rotation settings in Fluent.
For example if you have three blades and you want to solve only one blade, now you have to use periodicity condition... In any case whether one, two or all blades, you can set rotating condition in Fluent and not in ICEM |
