Hi, I'm really new to Gambit and fluent. Currently I'm trying to draw this 2 figures on gambit and try to mesh them. I get an error every time I try to mesh them. I'm using Hex elements with Map type and spacing 0.2
I did volume meshing straightaway, should i mesh the faces first? Basically the drawing is a block with a channel in the centre, with some inserts along the channel. The fluid will throw through the channel. Anyone can kindly enlighten me what mistake I have done? Thanks you! links for the files are here https://www.dropbox.com/s/9sfzv84n0r...nserts%203.dbs https://www.dropbox.com/s/w2wrp5je0a...nserts%202.dbs |

if you want hexa mesh with quad then you will have to split your domain especially in the neighborhood of both inclined blocks (they are the reason of your error)
Else you shouldn't have any problem, by meshinf it with pave
