11738 cell(s) have node(s) not connect to all faces (on 0)

Hi,

I met the problem when I check mesh in Ansys fluent as the title tells.
I used ICEM to generate the mesh. The quality is fine. I don't know what results in the problem. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you.

regards,
Xu

I found that if I use "refinement" function in ICEM I will meet the problem. if I don't use it, there is no problem when checking mesh in ANSYS fluent.
Anyone knows why?

I experienced the same issue with the refinement feature of icem and fluent. Probably, the usual way to export the blocking to fluent doesn't cover the hanging nodes (and faces). I don't know a solution to this problem but Fluent has some refinement features itself (e.g. adapt by region).

Thank you. Can I only refine one direction(for example, refinement alone z axis) in fluent?
