i am facing problem in mesh generation of vortex tube. actually i want finer mesh near boundaries and coarse mesh in center. for this purpose i have used ansys workbench 14.0 and tried to generate the mesh i wanted to. but the inflation layer on hot side outlet, and the mesh of conic section of fluid, which is present at the end of hot leg, are not much satisfactory i mean they seems to be distorted or something looking bad. i don't know exactly what it should be called. and another problem iss that workbench mesher generates the mesh but it doesn't update project and gives an error message in this regard. and the error message is "Patch-conforming tetrahedron mesh failed because of duplicated faces in boundary mesh". i have used patch conforming method for mesh generation. kindly help me out in this problem.

Hi, I`m not familiar with the mesher you are using, but a word of caution - tet mesh will result in cfd simulations that are hard to converge.
