Hey guys,
I was wondering if blocks that were not previously linked could share the same interface in ICEM. I'm trying to mesh a tank which has a comp[licated geometry. I have tried meshing different parts of the tanks with different blocks and associated the blocks to the respective edges but it does not work in fluent. Any suggestions would be helpful. I've used a simpler example to showcase what I'm trying to do. Hi Ruben,
I understood it that way, you want to set edge and copy those settings to all "parallel" edges right, for example all horizontal edges in your last screen? I think there is an easy solution. Have a look on the attachted scheme. Create a single stripe of blocking with an additional block between each tank. Then, delete this block without the option for permanent deletion. Without deleting permanently those block are internally moved to the part VORFN. That way the link between the horizontal edges is preserved. Then you just need to move the vertices to thier designated location. With regards, Sebastian shared_interface_detached_blocking.jpg shared_interface_detached_blocking2.jpg |
