Periodic grid for wedge-shaped geom into FLUENT

Dear all

I try to generate grid for such wedge-shape geometry, solve it in FLUENT. In order to solve it more quickly, 1/6 of the geometry is applied, and periodic zone is used.

Define the parts as

Define the periodic block as

But in FLUENT, I got such error as:

Clearing partially read grid.
9261 nodes.
8000 hexahedral cells, zone 8.
22800 quadrilateral interior faces, zone 9.
400 quadrilateral wall faces, zone 10.
800 quadrilateral wall faces, zone 11.
400 quadrilateral velocity-inlet faces, zone 12.
400 quadrilateral pressure-outlet faces, zone 13.

1. Note exact events leading to error.
2. Save case/data under new name.
3. Exit program and restart to continue.
4. Report error to your distributor.

What is the problem?

Thanks

After defining the periodicity in the global mesh setup, did you connect the corresponding vertices with perodicity?
When the global Periodicity is set, every vertex in the periodic face needs to be connected to its counterpart in the other periodic face. The program feature can be find in blocking>edit block>periodic vertices

Thanks, solved it. missed one step .
