Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with ICEM. Whenever I rotate a 2d mesh into a 3d using rotating block feature, I always get the message misorientation of volume elements. When I click on fix, it does appear to fix the issue, but on closer look, when I export the mesh to fluent, the cells close to the axis of rotation appear very skewed. I was wondering how to prevent such an issue ? If you guys have any ideas plz let me know. I have even tried a simple geometry such as a rectangle which is rotated into a cylinder but I have obtained similar problems.

Cheers

Ali
