Hi everybody.
I have to simulate a water wheel inside a channel. I have a question and I hope someone will answer me. 1) I have two adjacent static domains with different mesh size In the meshing (the default mesh application in Ansys), it is possible to create on the respective adjacent interfaces the same mesh, in order to have a perfect correspondence? I have already attribuite at the two adjacent surfaces the same mesh size (with the option Face sizing), but, event the cells have the same dimension, they don't match. Very thanks |

Hello Ema,
You can use the "contact sizing" option in Ansys Meshing. In the Project outline tree under Connection> Contact> Contact Region, then drag and drop your contact interface in the mesh tab and it will create a contact sizing element between your two domains at that interface. |

you can try as said above, although i always find trouble doing the contact sizing, so i always form one part out of the different parts in design modeler by just selecting them to form a single part and then mesh it, works for me...

I would also suggest 'Match Control'.
