How to change AoA of 3D wing?

Hi,

I'm working on a 3D kite in Fluent. I've run a complete simulation & I'm happy with the results ie mesh, physics etc.

How do I go about changing the 'Angle of Attack', ranging from 0-15 degrees? Can you explain in step-by-step terms, as I'm pretty new to ANSYS. Thanks in advance...

Hey
Usually for changing AoA in fluent simulation, geometry and grid fix and just we change the flow field components in boundary conditions of fluent!

Hi,

Thanks for your response. Do you mean that instead of changing the angle of the wing, the angle of the oncoming flow can be changed? So I have to convert AoA into X-Y vectors?

Yes
You can use sin(alpha) and cos(alpha) and change the AoA easily!
