Hello,
I have been working on the CFD for wind blade with one blade, tri-axis symmetry. I create 2 sketches that resemble wind tunnel with 120 deg and then skin/loft. This has been given attributes - fluid. When I proceed for Boolean subtract, the geometry goes missing from the tree. In short, i can see it but cannot select it. Even during meshing it is not visible and i cannot select the part for named selection. I am using Ansys v15. I have have worked on the following ways: 1. Create the curves in rhino and import to solid works to create a solid. When importing (tried with iges, Step). 2. Use rhino surface model to import into ansys and then create solid. Sewing operation fails to create solid. 3. Tried using rhino curves into Ansys Space Claim and then blend it to surface / solid. None of the 2 options work. Neither i can create the solid from the surface. It gives an error. 4. Used STL file import -> Solidworks as solid. Export back to ansys. Can anyone guide me as why this has been happening. Its been 20 days and I have been trying all tricks from here and there. Thank you Pranav |
