tutorials and density increase

Hello guys, I am a newbie and I have some newbie questions for you:
1. Can you recommend me some ansys mesher tutorials that you find "good" ? 2. How do I increase mesh density in the part inside a circle (see pic)? |

Hi Zdunol,
Welcome to CFD Online. You can visit Ansys website>Customer Portal, its is packed with many tutorials for each workbench application.The tutorials come as .pdf files or flash videos, along with relevant models/meshes. Quote:

thanks man, i couldn't do it with sizing and i suspected that sphere of influence may be the right tool, but i don't know how to use it yet ;d Once again - thanks a lot!

To create new coordinate system, right click on "Coordinate Systems" in the tree on left side of meshing and select "Insert>Coordinate system" 3. Select geometry (point/edge/face/body) where you want Sphere of Influence 4. Then for mesh right click on "Mesh" in the tree on left hand side and select "Insert>Sizing" 5. Select related geometry where you want sizing 6. Select Sizing>Type>Sphere of Influence from drop down menu 7. Select new coordinate system you have just created form drop down menu 8. Input Sphere radius and Element size you want in mesh. 9. Make sure your sphere covers all the area where you want finer mesh, if not change Sphere radius to accommodate it.
