Which one is the right one?

I've been browsing and using ANSYS meshing for a year now. Every now and then I came across this case. Generating mesh after method inserted will result differently if we insert method after generating the mesh. For example. Image 1

This is how I set my mesh. I divided my model to 3 different part. There are parts where I think is appropiate for Quad. Thus I inserted sweep method with automatic source and target with All quad setting. The approach is the same. But the steps to generate the mesh is quite confusing. Refer image 2.

Image 2 is the result of generating the mesh generally first. Then, I inserted sweep method at the desired part and resulting in inflation for both part.

Unfortunately, for the image 3 it didn't occur that way. Image 3 is the result when I inserted the sweep method first and generate the mesh. Even though the earlier picture is the desired mesh for my model, but I have doubt that that's the correct way of generating the mesh. Can anyone help me please?:confused::confused::confused:

What is your question? if i am understanding you right, the problem is you have an inflation layer in the bottom part and no the top one. Also by your geometry it appears you can use hex mesh easily for both top and bottom part. just further divide you bottom part and it will automatically be detected for hex meshing
