Overlapped edges / double bunching

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

I am meshing my geometry by blocking and I have the following problem: an edge, that is shared between two blocks, has a double bunching depending on which direction. Maybe they are two overlapped edges but I don't think that this is possible.

Any idea on how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance,
philus

The image isn't really clear so I don't know if I understand the problem correctly. How did the problem arise? If you have a large 3D block and split it to get two separate blocks, then the common edge should be automatically associated and shared between two blocks.

Did you try something like the collapse block feature or modify the edge to what you want?

There is function called "extend splits"... which should take care of "block"-specific cuts like this. You have to check the grading afterwards.

Hi Crank-Shaft and mvoss, thanks for yours replies.

Finally, checking "vertices->numbers" I have discovered overlapped vertices that I merged. Thanks to that I have fixed my problem!

have a nice day
