General Question About Hybrid Meshing in ICEM

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is repetitive, but I have been unable to find a clear answer on the forum or anywhere else.

I have a hex and tet mesh in ICEM and want to merge these two meshes to make one volume mesh(or region) WITHOUT the resulting shell elements at the interface. Is it possible ?

I have been trying to follow the steps in the "Hybrid tube" tutorial but still have the shell elements at the interface.

Thanks
