Dear ICEM experts,

I need some help with geometry operations. I imported a 2d geometry to ICEM from some etching mask tool. The problem is, that this geometry consists of about 65000 lines, just because circles are not imported (or exported) as circles but as zillions of single lines.
Is there any way I can just mark these lines and click some "join lines" button, to get rid of these thousands of single lines? Consecutive tools hang, when I have that many lines...

Philipp.

I don't know if you have already tried that but there is an option to Concatenate/Reapproximate curves in ICEM CFD under:

Geometry -->> Create/Modify curve -->> Concatenate/Reapproximate Curves

I have used this functionality for up to 4 lines but I don't think there would be any limitation on that.

Best wishes

Great, that looks like what I was searching for. Thanks!
I never made the geometry with ICEM, but with Design Modeler. That's why I don't know all these tools...

raghav is on a distinguished road
Delete all curves and points. And then use build topology with tolerance 0.05, 0.1 or 0.2 unitill you get a best topology.
