Hello,
I am new to ICEM and need a few suggestions on the pre-mesh parameters to be used to create a mapped mesh on the surface of the ellipse. I am trying to mesh a 3-d twisted pipe by first creating surface mesh and then using advanced fill option in 2d to 3d transformation. As seen from the figure the o-grid mesh is fine but I have a problem with the interior where I was not able to map a uniform structured surface mesh. Changed block type from free to mapped and it worked. Will update the post in case of further difficulties in creating a 3-d mesh
