Hello, I would like to know if there's a way to lock or save the toolbars position. Thanks so much and have a sunny sunday!

Hi Stabum,

I highly doubt that you can lock your Toolbar position!
But it should come at the same position as you left.

Cheers

Hello, Kali. What you say doesn't happen to me: every single time I start DM I reorder the toolbars the way I like and every single time I found them moved in a different (and horrible) order... What can I do???

I am not sure whats happening with your system.
Do you have dual screen?
If you are moving from one screen size to other this might happen.
If DM is opening in different screen in different instances then this might happen as well.

To tell the truth, yes, I have a dual monitor config. But the point is that I start DM, I do my things, I quit DM in order to start ANSYS mesh. After creating the mesh sometimes I come back to DM and... Boom! All the toolbars have changed their position! And all this within 5 minutes! With no resolution changes! Don't know what's going on ... Thanks anyway for your help!

I can suggest one thing to try, Switch off / detach your secondary monitor and see if its still happening.

Hello Stabum, did you ever solve the problem with DM's toolbars?? I'm having the same problem and I don't use dual monitor. This problem is extremely annoying.

It is now 2022 and this problem persists! Has anyone found a way to fix it? I've always had this problem, no matter how many monitors I use or what version of Windows I run. Ansys attention to detail sucks!
